Work, Life, School Balance

Just less than a month ago before I quit my second job, I was living a crazy life. My typical week involved working Monday night 7-7:30am, then off to school 9-1:45pm, then nap from 3-6pm back to work 7-7:30am, work second job 8-2pm. Sleep home. School the next morning, it was so exhausting I can’t even finish describing my whole week. I was tired all the time, my school suffered lowering my GPA to a 2.9 which I’m embarrassed to even write about. I finally said enough is enough, I still have my full time night job three days a week 12 and a half hours a day but I have been unable to pick up my school slump. It’s not as easy as I thought getting back to a good study schedule but I know I will get back there.

I am writing this post because I never thought I would find myself in this position but anyone can. It’s not hard getting distracted by everyday life, my personal life is on the rocks too so balancing that is hard. My boyfriend has been going through some changes so I’m trying to be there for him. I usually make dinner for us every night, when I’m working at night I leave food for him in the fridge. It’s great having to think about some other than myself when I’m going through these changes. It gives prospective on the important things and being thankful.
